The Bordo range of Deltabit SDS Plus and SDS Max solid tungsten carbide head masonry drill bits offer outstanding performance in a wide variety of drilling applications. Deltabits offer specific advantages over standard SDS bits:
- Three edge cutter provides high durability and improved drilling speed.
- Tungsten carbide head is permanently bonded to the shank through the use of a unique fusion welding technology, rather than brazing.
- Eliminates rifling – drilling holes close to perfect roundness.
- Extremely round holes result in improved fastener performance by increasing pull out loads.
- More accurate hole starting without bit walk.
- Limited circumferential wear.
- Drills through reinforcing mesh and reinforcing bar.
- Minimised bit binding against reinforcing bar – increasing operator safety.
- Easily drills through all typical steel decking plate including Bondek®.
